Mrs. Claudia M. Mitcham's Obituary
Claudia M. Mitcham, 74, of Rosharon, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked for Denny’s for 27 years where she was loved by her coworkers and customers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church Arcola, Texas. Mrs. Mitcham was a kind and loving person who was always there when you needed her.
Mrs. Mitcham was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Alford and Gladys Beard; sister, Patricia Tisza; son, Mikeal Kirk also preceded in death by her beloved dog Tater-tot.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years. Clarence Noel Mitcham; children, Deena Lynne Hoop and husband Junior, Lanieca Ann Perdue and husband Gary, Noel David Mitcham and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Tamela Denise Hoop Paynter, Ronda Michelle Hoop Biondillo, Jessica Nicole Hoop Harris, Preston Gage Mitcham, Parker Garrett Mitcham, Brandon Mikeal Perdue, and Kayla Townsend; great-grandchildren, Michael Harrison Paynter, David Anthony Biondillo, Kira Lynne Smith, Kallen Cole Weeks, Kaitlin Paynter, Bella Harris, and Hally Harris.
Mrs. Mitcham was a great cook she specialized in Chicken and Dumplings, Divinity, C ole Slaw and other country goodies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 22, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Freedom Fellowship Church 1201 N. Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Graveside Service will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Southpark Cemetery.
