Christine Elizabeth Jong's Obituary
Christine Elizabeth Jong was born in Belton, Texas on October 27, 1922 and passed away at the age of 97 at her home in Manvel Texas where she resided for 50 years.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents Houston and Anna Lee Anderson; Brothers Robert Lynn Anderson, Elbert John Anderson, and Homer Anderson; Brother in law Millie Taylor: Husband James Norman Jong Sr. and son James Norman Jong Jr.
She is survived by her sister Welma Blair and niece Kathy Siri and Alice Newton: Nephews Ray Blair and Bob Blair: Great Nieces Terra Newton, Susan Nicole Owens, Shelly Plant, Jennifer Huse, Sue Walker, DeDe Blair; Great Nephews Thomas Blair and Corey Kimball; Great-Great nieces Jordan and Madison Huse and Meagan Plant, Daughter in law Lisa Jong; Grand Daughters Christi Lynn Keesee and Shelly Renee Welch; great grandsons Zachary Ryan Jong and wife Trish Jong, Seth Brennon Kennemer, Sean Patrick Keesee; Great Granddaughter Madison Renee Welch and Great Grandson Kieran Jong and Many Friends.
Christine Loved her family, friends, and the lord. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ for 25 years. Christine enjoyed dressing nice, and collecting dolls, carnival glass, and many other pretty things. She always wanted to have her own retail shop and her and her husband owned several businesses over the years.
