Chester Glenn Crummel Jr.'s Obituary
Chester Glenn Crummel, Jr., at the age of 95, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Sugarland, TX. Born in Houston, TX on August 5th, 1927, he was preceded in death by his two sons Chester, III and Michael, his daughter Mary; Mother Mary; Brother Harry and Sister Mae Coker. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bertha Crummel, and his children Rada Green, CloRita Parsley, Kenneth McCorkle, Patricia
Gillespie, Barbara Eubanks, and Virginia Linares; Sister Linda McLendon; Nephew Johnny Coker and Niece Patsy Luigi; And many other wonderful nieces and nephews, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving husband and an amazing Dad. He dearly loved his country and served in both the Army and the Navy. He would often tell stories of his service in the military, and also of his many “adventures” as a young man. He really was a kid at heart and will be greatly missed!! Funeral Services will be held at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, TX. Visitation is from 1pm to 2pm, and the service is from 2pm to 3pm. All are welcome to attend.
