He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and countless friends. He always enjoyed attending fun family lunches and dinners and celebrating family and friends' milestones. Deborah and Danny loved to travel with friends and family and nothing was as precious as spending time with family. To celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, they enjoyed a wonderful trip with their children and grandchildren to Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Danny had a successful career in the Sheet Metal industry for over 45 years. He retired in 2019 from Straus Systems, Inc. Danny made strong and lasting friendships with many of his coworkers and he enjoyed spending time with these friends hunting and fishing.
Danny was always singing and could be quoted as saying, “there’s a song for everything”. He was funny, quick-witted, and a great storyteller. His family often joked that he was like the television character "MacGyver" because he could fix anything or solve almost any problem.
