Charles David Honig, 59, passed away on October 23, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1959 in Queens, New York to Melvin Honig and Barbara Esther Fleisher.
Charles met Sheila Marie Johnson on Pearland, Texas. Charles was a member of the Silverlake Church. He work as a plumber with New York Government, Plumber Local Union No. 1. for June, 2006. Charles met Sheila in Pearland, TX. This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful man has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed by his wife and best friend of 13 years. He and Sheila had also a business, Series Company Southern Gelt, LLC. Charles truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, and spending time with his grandchildren. Charles had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
Mr. Honig is survived by wife, Sheila Honig; Barry Honig, a brother, Stacy Wilson, a sister; Jessica Honig, daughter; Mitchel Honig, son; Samantha Honig Edwards, daughter; Frances Johnson Jeffers, mother-in-law; Joseph Jeffers, father-in-law; and spending time with her grandsons and granddaugthers, family and friends.
The Honig family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at SouthPark Funeral Home for the funeral service starting at 10:00 AM with the burial to follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
