She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Parks Kirkland, her parents, four brothers, one sister, and her grandson, Jake Kirkland. Charlene is survived by her son, Michael Kirkland, daughter Cynthia McDaniel, grandsons Mark McDaniel and Matthew Kirkland, and granddaughter Courtney Daude. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Trinity Kirkland and Deacon Daude.
