Cecil McNeil Jr.'s Obituary
Cecil McNeil Jr. was born on January 27, 1936, and passed away peacefully on January 18,
2026, at the age of 89.
Cecil was dedicated to his career with Reed Tool Company where he worked as a machinist
for over 50 years. He enjoyed a simple country lifestyle in Livingston, TX. He loved boating
and fishing in Lake Livingston, Somerville and Galveston Bay. His favorite foods were fish
and ruby red shrimp. He especially loved his Blue Bell ice cream. His favorite pastimes
were watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies, Dallas Cowboys and the Houston
Astros.
Cecil is preceded in death by his father Cecil McNeil Sr., his mother Mamie McNeil, his wife
Greta McNeil, his daughter Terri McNeil, his grandson Thomas McNeil Jr. and his second
wife Janelle Aylesworth.
Cecil is survived by his children Thomas McNeil Sr. (and his spouse, Karla), Tammy Boothe
(and her spouse, Randy), and Tracy McNeil (and his spouse, Stephanie); his grandchildren
Wesley Boothe, Tyler McNeil, Timothy McNeil, and Kayla Potter (and her spouse, Jake); and
his great grandchildren McKenna Boothe, Kamden McNeil, Aimee Potter and Addison
Dawley.
