CECELIA MORALEZ 94 YRS OLD OF GALENA PARK TX WAS BORN ON NOV 16, 1928 IN LOS INDIOS, TX AND PASSED AWAY IN PASADENA, TX ON JULY 5, 2023.
CECELIA WAS MARRIED TO CARMEL MORALEZ ON AUGUST 16, 1944 TO MAKE 64 YEARS AND WORKED AS A SUPERVISOR FOR HOLIDAY INN FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS.
She was a very energetic, loving, and fun person. SHE LOVED LOVED TO DANCE, LOVED TO WATCH BASEBALL, LOVED HER MARGARITAS, Loved playing 31 with her sister Lupe “man oh man did she know how to cheat – she would drop cards on the floor on purpose.
She was very well know as The Dancing Grandma of Galena Park. She was a firecracker, don’t dare her to do anything because she would do it with no hesitation. Everyone she meet she became their Grandma and she loved that.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY: SON GILBERT MORALEZ, DAUGHTER , PAULINE ARIZMENDEZ, DAUGHTER, ELIZABETH CORTEZ, SON, GEORGE MORALEZ , DAUGHTER , PATRICIA MORALEZ, DAUGHTER, IRENE HINOJOSA, Grandchildren, Great Grand Children, Great Great Grandchildren, Sister Guadalupe Astorga, Brothers: Joe De Leon & Santos DeLeon
SHE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: (HUSBAND) CARMEL MORALEZ – (SON) DAVID MORALEZ – (SON), DANIEL MORALEZ – (GREAT GRANDSON) GEORGE DEAN MORALEZ II – (GREAT GRANDSON) MICHAEL CORDERO
Her last wish was she wanted to let everyone know when she is gone she DOESN’T want to see anyone crying. She wants everyone to get up and dance, because she has lived her life and was ready to be with Jesus.
