It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister and friend- Carolyn Maglean Holley

During her earthly life, she succeeded in every personal endeavor and the magnitude of her genuine love for those in her life was unparalleled.
Carolyn was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 2, 1951 to the parents of Robert Holley and Wilma Jean Oliver. She was reared by her grandmother whom she often credited for molding her spirituality and character. She received Christ at an early age. At the age of 15, she relocated to Austin, Texas to reside with her father due to untimely circumstances of her grandmother. Her father was extremely instrumental in her adult life.

She was passionate about the criminology field. She worked for Travis County Adult Probation, Harris County Adult Probation and was a retiree of Brazoria County Institutional Parole Division after serving nearly two decades.
Carolyn was a dedicated mother above all. She treasured her children to the highest standards. She was often recognized as being the “best mother”. As a role of a mother, she exemplified “excellence”. A mother of this caliber only naturally was a committed grandmother. She loved being called “Granny”. Carolyn personality was beyond measure. She was indeed the friend. She had an uplifting spirit and patience that was remarkable. After a conversation with Carolyn, you were changed. She loved her loyal friends, dearly.
