Mrs. Carolyn Elaine Earnest's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Carolyn Elaine Earnest
Carolyn Elaine Earnest was born on January 15, 1946 in Ogden, Utah to Saginaw Grant and Maureen Terry. She was an only child who grew up with her cousin, Phyllis Sharp, who was like a sister to her. Her Mawmaw, Sally Terry, raised her for most of her childhood. In 1965 she met the love of her life, Robert Earnest, in Knox, Indiana when she came to his house to borrow a bicycle. He went track down his bike and he asked her to go for a ride to Penguin Point where they had frozen glass root beer floats and so it began. They were married on September 18, 1965 in Knox, Indiana. He left for the army and Carolyn went to stay with Roberts parents. He was then stationed in Massachusetts and she followed him to be close. In 1966, Robert was deployed to Vietnam. While he was there Michael was born. When Robert was dis-charged they moved to Houston in 1967. They attended O. W. Williams church. After several years they attended Pearland Tabernacle and found out they were going to have another child, Jennifer. They then attended Life Tabernacle until Michael graduated from Life Christian Academy. They then moved to Pearland in 1981 and found out they were expecting Charity. They, also, started attending Pearland Tabernacle which since has become First Church of Pearland. She loved Jesus and it was one of her greatest desires for all her kids to love Jesus and she would tell them I don’t care what you do, just love Jesus. It was her main objective to care for and make sure all her babies were taken care of. She also, cared for her Mawmaw and her mother when they became sick. She loved to laugh and make people laugh. She loved reading and crafting. She will forever be missed by Robert, Michael, Mary, Zachary, Blake, Jennifer, Daniel, Xavier, Charity, August, Haley, Blake, Ashley, Joshua, and Jacob. She went home to Jesus on November 19, 2019. She is free at last!
