Ms. Carolee Wells Scott's Obituary
Carol Lee Wells Scott was born on May 28, 1940 to Mr. Clayborne Wells and Melrose McClure in Rosharon, Texas. She was the first child born to this marriage. She attended China Grove Elementary and later enrolled at Jack Yates Senior High School in Houston, Texas. She left school to start her family, Carol had three sons Chris A. Wells, Craig A. Wells and Eugene Caleb Jr., and one daughter Micherral Wells McCord who proceeded her in death.
Carol Scott joined South Wesley A.M.E. Church under her uncle Rev. Johnny E. Jennings as her pastor in 1980. Carol Scott worked for years as a cosmetologist and licensed caregiver. She was an avid gardener and loved her yard. She was quiet and minded her own business.
Carol Scott departed this life on March 10, 2019 at home. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter, two brothers Ja Don Butler, Alexis K. Butler; three sisters Cheryl Bruce, Janice Gross and Bridgette Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends.
