Carol Susan McGinty's Obituary
Carol passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Carol was born in Jasper Missouri to Floyd D Noel and Beatrice Susan Baker. She married the love of her life Harry McGinty in 1975, with whom she went on many adventures, until his passing in May of 2007.
Carol was a great storyteller and loved sharing with others her past, present, and future adventures.
Some of her many adventurous interests were golfing, yes, she had at least one hole in one; scuba diving in the Caribbean, Australia, and numerous other waters around the world; whale watching; fishing and floating on the many lakes in Texas; bear fighting; NASCAR, drag racing, and honestly any racing that involved wheels; being outdoors and exploring the world God created for us to enjoy.
When not out on an adventure Carol enjoyed rooting on the Astros, drinking wine and playing cards and/or games with friends and family, creating art with stained glass, embroidery, quilting, and gardening.
Carol is survived by a large family including children Deborah Tate, David McGinty, and Cassandra McGinty. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Lloyd & Deborah Noel, Eddie Noel, Cindy Thiele & Robert Wood, and Julie Goodroe. Also, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, grand nieces, grand nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Till we meet again in the Heavens above....
