Mrs. Carol Borden's Obituary
Carol Ann Whisenant Borden, from Fresno, Texas joined her loving husband John in the presence of their Lord and Savior on January 11, 2019. She was born on September 13, 1944 in Ranger, Texas, and was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years John Wilson Borden, her father Julius Lemar Whisenant, Daughter Beverly Ann Gogle Bryant, Granddaughter Natalie Davis, Sister-in-Law Shirley Whisenant, and Brother-in-Law James Kuhlmann. She is survived by her mother Jeannette Whisenant, Brother Jesse Lee (J. L.) Whisenant and Patsy, Sister Joyce Jean Kuhlmann, Sister Martha Marie Scott and husband Ron, Sister Nina Kennedy and husband Fred, Son John W. Borden III and wife Cyndi, Daughter Jeannie Lea Colbert and husband Robb, Son Stephen Borden and wife Vige, Grandchildren, Scott Davis, Kimberly West and husband Christopher, Amber Gogle, Renee Borden, John W. Borden IV, Emily Gogle, Bayleigh Borden, Jacob Neal, Abigail Bryant, Greyson Cash Borden, and Great-Grandchildren Cameron Davis, Kylie West, Christopher West, Jr and Owen Davis, and a multitude of additional Family and Friends. She worked for Southwestern Bell for 29 years, retiring in 1991. She was a Charter Member at First Baptist Church Fresno. She was loved and respected by many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
