Mrs. Carmen Garcia Cervantes' Obituary
Heaven gained the sweetest angel, Carmen Garcia Cervantes, on Friday, November 1, 2019. She was born January 10, 1931, in Laredo, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her memory lives on through her 8 children: Carmen (David), Linda (Ray), Azalea (Mark), Cynthia Ann, Gonzalo Jr. (Stephanie), Sonia (Rafael), Diana Lynn, Leonardo (Janine), as well as 36 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers Florencio Jr., Reynaldo, Gilberto, and her sister Maria Elena. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband Gonzalo, her beloved mother Carmen T. Garcia, her father Florencio Sr., her sister Esperanza, and her brothers Fernando, and Adolfo who passed away 6 days before her, along with 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She will be remembered most for her beautiful smile, and her devotion to her family and to God. As a dedicated member of St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for over 40 years, she opened her heart to everyone that she met. Her generous spirit will live on forever. May God Bless You, Mom.
