Carlos Elias Cartagena, a devoted father, loving husband, and steadfast friend, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2024. His unwavering commitment to his family and his tireless work ethic left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Obituary: Carlos found joy in reading “Pete the Cat” to his boys each evening. Their favorite book, “Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes,” taught them resilience with the mantra: “No matter what you step in, keep singing and walking, 'cause it’s all good!” Carlos embodied this spirit, facing life’s challenges with grace and determination.
Visitation: Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the South Park Chapel on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CST).
Funeral Mass: A celebration of Carlos’s life will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Monday, June 10th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (CST).
Burial: Following the funeral mass, Carlos will be laid to rest at the South Park Cemetery on Monday, June 10th, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM (CST).
