Brenda Sue Robinson's Obituary
Brenda Sue Brosius Robinson, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in Pearland, TX, after a long battle with dementia. Brenda was born on September 27, 1940, in Galveston, TX. She grew up with her family in Alvin, TX, and graduated from Alvin High School in 1959, where she participated in band and tennis and was a member of Alvin Lutheran Church.
She married Robbie Robinson, and they made their home in Houston, TX. They shared 25 years of marriage until Robbie’s passing in 1987. Brenda worked as a bookkeeper in her early years, but her most treasured role was raising their two children.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Robinson; her parents, Oscar and Alma Brosius; sisters, Linda Nugent, Mary Allen, Marlene Brosius, and Carol Brosius; and brother, Allen Brosius.
Brenda is survived by her son, Jay Robinson; her daughter, Sandy Kelly, and her husband, John; grandchildren Meghan Nevada and her husband, Jared, and Jordan Smith and her husband, Logan; step-daughter, Bambi Chapman and her husband, Joe; grandchildren Shane Chapman and his wife, Mariana, and Shannon Guarnere and her husband, Dustin; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Family was at the heart of Brenda’s life, especially her beloved grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
A service of remembrance will be held graveside at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28th. A Celebration of Life will follow at the home of John and Sandy Kelly.
