Brenda Glover's Obituary
Brenda Nell Glover, age 71, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. She was born on March 8, 1955, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and later made her home in Houston, Texas.
Brenda was a warm, kind, and spirited woman, known for her loving heart and a feisty personality that brought both strength and laughter to those around her. She built a dedicated career with Continental Airlines, where she worked as a Utility Mechanic in the TechOps department until her retirement. Her work ethic and commitment were a reflection of the pride she took in everything she did.
Outside of her career, Brenda found joy in gardening and landscaping, taking great pride in creating beauty around her home. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Lucy, who brought her comfort and companionship over the years.
Above all, Brenda cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jason Glover and Roderick Glover, and a proud grandmother to Phoenix, Maximus, and Genesis Glover, who brought immense joy to her life. She also shared a special bond with her siblings and was the youngest of nine, including Nan Turner and Pinkie Gibson.
Brenda’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a private family viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
