Brenda Joyce Boyd's Obituary
Brenda Joyce Boyd "BJ", 57, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 to be with our Lord and Savior. Brenda was born in Los Angeles, California on June 28, 1957 to Smitherene Lynn Pooler and later adopted by her maternal grandparents Ned and Tenna Boyd. Her parents raised Brenda in a loving home in Plain Dealing, Louisiana.
She went on to graduate with honors from Plain Dealing High School in 1975. Brenda continued her studies at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she studied computer science. She received her Bachelor’s Degree 1979. Brenda had been working for Automatic Power for a number of years, but most recently she was employed by Aerotek Staffing.
Brenda Boyd is survived by her only son Austin Kellum which she adored very much and a host of family and friends.
