Mr. Bradley Thomas Pietrowski's Obituary
Bradley Thomas Pietrowski of Houston, Texas, born April 24, 1956 in Redwood Falls, MN passed away on July 11, 2011 at Cornerstone Hospital in Webster, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence Marie (Klabunde) Pietrowski and Stanley Charles Pietrowski, and his sister, Connie (Pietrowski) Lauckner. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Wendy Pietrowski; son, Ryan Pietrowski, Sr. and wife Samantha; daughters, Teresa Taylor and husband Philip and Lauren Gamache and husband Stefan; grandchildren, Ryan, Jr., Royce, Kate, Audrey, Sydney and Logan; sister, Jill (Pietrowski) Byrne and husband Marty; nephews, Michael and Matthew; and a host of other family and friends. Brad grew up in Wabasso, Minnesota, attending St. Anne's School and was graduated from Wabasso High School in 1974 where he excelled as a basketball player. He attended the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and received a business degree from Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota, where he later was an Assistant Men's Basketball coach. Brad was employed as a marketing executive with numerous companies during his professional career, including 3M, The Lending Tree, Coupon Clearing Service, and various divisions of Schwann's Consumer Brands. After retiring from Schwann's, he also worked as an independent marketing consultant, helping many companies and friends get a kick start on new product lines. He married Robin Maasch of Vesta, Minnesota on September 2, 1978; they later divorced. On August 26, 1989, he married Wendy Deckert of Irvine, California. They had one son, Ryan, along with Teresa and Lauren from Wendy's previous marriage. Brad was a member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. He was a volunteer coach for numerous of his son's teams in the Houston community, including several little league basketball teams. He was an avid basketball player, runner, and sports enthusiast. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dogs, watching Formula One racing and ESPN, and cheering on his favorite teams, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday July 15, 2011 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas with visitation on Thursday, June 14 from 5-7 P.M. at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main, Pearland, Texas.
