Bonnie Beth Alvarez's Obituary
Bonnie Beth Alvarez, 53, died of liver failure December 16, 2025, at Baylor St. Luke's Hospital. She was born April 28, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana whereby she was immediately adopted by Jan Hofer and Paul Baranyai whom they had already adopted her older blood sister, Deborah Baranyai. The family had moved to a ranch house in Conroe, Texas in 1978, age 6 and Deborah age 8. Later the family relocated in The Woodlands Texas in 1980. Bonnie attended Lamar Elementary, Wilkerson Intermediate, Knox Junior High School, and graduated from Mccullough High School in 1990. She attended 2 years at Blinn Junor College in Bryan, Texas. In her sophomore year of high school at the age of 16, Bonnie signed up with Neal Hamil Modeling Agency whereby she was first runner up in the Super Model of the World contest.
Bonnie's work career started in daycare and later became a leasing agent for high end apartment properties such as Trammell Crow.
Bonnie married Norman Alvarez December 21, 2000. She is survived by son Christian Xavier Alvarez, age 24 and daughter Isabella Rose Alvarez, age 22. She is also survived by Norman Xavier Alvarez, husband, Jan Hofer, mother and Deborah Rowe Baranyai, sister.
Funeral service will be held on January 12, 2026, at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St., Pearland, TX 77581 at 12 PM noon. Burial procession and service will be at South Park Cemetery at 2 PM that same day. Flowers would be appreciated.
