Bobby Davalos' Obituary
Bobby Charles Davalos was born on October 8, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Rudolph and Carmen Davalos. He passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Bobby D was a career firefighter, an avid fisherman, a diehard Houston Texans and Astros fan, enjoyed golfing, skiing and bowling and was a bonus father figure to so many. Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Davalos and brother Ronald P. Davalos. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Martha Rodriguez Davalos; mother: Carmen Davalos; mother-in-law: Minda Dominguez; sister: Gina Wilcox and husband Bubba; sister-in-laws: Linda Rodriguez and Minerva Davalos; nieces: Amber Mackechney, Angelique Garcia, Danette Locher, Minda Puente and Brianna Rodriguez-Hernandez; nephews: Lance Wilcox and David Villarreal; and numerous great nieces, nephews and extended family. He will also be missed by his loyal dog Mako and his amazing friends – who were more like family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11011 Hall Rd, Houston, TX 77089. The rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11 am also at St. Luke followed by interment at South Park Cemetery in Pearland. Flowers can be sent to the church and donations may be made to some of Bobby’s preferred organizations like Firefighters Helping Firefighters P.O.
