Mr. Bobby Doil Barnes' Obituary
Bobby Barnes, 84, of McKinney Texas went with the calling of the angels on Good Friday, March 25, 2016.
He was born May 24, 1931 to Ruth Boyles Barnes and Jessie Franklin Barnes. He was one of 8 children that included Mary Grace Barnes, Billy Barnes, Jack Barnes, Jimmy Barnes, Dorothy Barnes, Jerry Barnes and Peggy Barnes. Bobby always missed his family and loved everyone dearly.
Several Tidbits about Bobby: He was friendly with everyone and could talk the bark off a fence post. If you ever visited him and it was time to go, he would always say, “What’s your Hurry” or “Sit and Stay Awhile”. He always had a smile and people loved being around him. Over the course of his final years, if you ask him how he was doing, he would always say with a smile “I’m still a kicking” and if he did not know the answer to a question he would always say “That’s a Good Question”.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife Dorothy J. Barnes of McKinney, Texas, his son Ricky, his wife Terrie and their child Jonathan; and his son Ronny, his wife Karon and Ronny’s children; Ronnie, Brandi, and Jessica. Adopted daughter Dee Mason and husband Gary Mason along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids.
