Mrs. Blanche E. Musachia's Obituary
Blanche Lyon Musachia passed away on February 26, 2016 in Galveston, Texas, at the age of 70. She was born on January 23, 1946 in Houston, Texas to Virgil Ray Lyon and Virginia Eileen Lyon. Blanche was a born again Christian, was baptized, and loved Jesus very much. She was preceded in death by two half brothers, David Ryan and Sanford Lyon; a first cousin, Michael Hill; son-in-law, Ronald K. Abbott II and her first-born grandson, Christopher Lee Abbott. Blanche is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 51 years, Salvatore (Sammy) Musachia; sons: Sammy Musachia Jr. and fiancé, Lena Riemer; Charles Musachia and wife, Penny; and John Musachia; daughters: Marie Musachia Abbott; and Virginia Musachia Keepers; grandchildren: Timothy Abbott, Christian Musachia, Justin Palermo, Erica Musachia, Andrew Musachia, Anthony Musachia, Sarah Perry, Brandon Perry, Jessica Perry, Brianna Musachia and Zanndra Musachia; great grandchildren: McKenzie Abbott, Alissa Abbott, Caleb Abbott, Alessandra Musachia, Alexis Perry, and Athena Perry; cousins: Lisa Hill and Michelle Hill; neice: Desiree Ryan and great niece: Sarah. The Musachia family will receive visitors on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at SouthPark Funeral Home. Memorial and graveside service will be on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 12:30 pm (Private family viewing will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 am.) at SouthPark Funeral Home and Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Sammy Musachia Jr., Charles Musachia, John Musachia, Timothy Abbott, Christian Musachia, Brandon Perry, Andrew Musachia, Anthony Musachia and Justin Palermo.
