Bindu Kurian's Obituary
Bindu Kurian, a resident of Sugar Land, Texas, peacefully passed away on December 9th, 2023, at the age of 45.
Born on May 4th, 1978, in Kallooppara/Mallappally/Kerala/India, Bindu received her early education in Cheriyanadu, Chenganoor. In 1999, she migrated to the USA and moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma for studies. Bindu pursued her undergraduate studies in Computer Science, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Langston University in Oklahoma, later furthering her education through the obtainment of various technical certifications.
On September 16th, 2003, Bindu and Biju entered matrimony, having celebrated 20 years of their loving and enduring marriage this past September.
For the past 16+ years, Bindu served as a Computer Engineer at United Airlines, collaborating alongside her incredible friends and colleagues within the United community.
Bindu was gifted with a warm, humble smile that drew people and friends toward her, and her great sense of humor and unique conversational approach made her a joy to be around. In addition to all of her professional talents, Bindu was also a great cook and was known to spoil her kids, husband, and everyone else around her with delicious meals.
Her greatest passion revolved around traveling and exploring new places and food.
Bindu is survived by her loving family—her devoted husband Biju Kurian and their children Riya and Jayden. She is also survived by her parents, John Varghese and Sosamma John Chakkalayil family Cheriyanadu, and her in-laws, Kurian Kurian and Annamma Kurian Karikuzhiyil. Additionally, she is survived by her younger brother, Vinod John, and his wife Liji John, brother-in-law Binu Kurian and his wife Binitha Kurian, as well as nieces and nephews Dani John, Joel John, Jonah Kurian, Adam Kurian, Serah Kurian, Katherine Kurian, and a host of other cherished family and friends.
The visitation and prayer services will take place at St. Joseph Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church at 211 Present St, Missouri City, TX 77489, on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at 10 AM. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM following the church services, at South Park Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 1310 N. Main St., Pearland, TX 77581.
