Bin Zheng's Obituary
Bin Zheng, age 35 of Pearland Texas, passed away on November 20th, 2022, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was a loving and honorable father, husband, son, and brother. He was born on May 9th, 1987 in Fuzhou, China, and lived most of his childhood in Harlan, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, LiLi Wu; son, Luca Wu Zheng; parents, Jinhua Dong, Yushi Zheng, and Meiwah (Joyce) Cheng; siblings, Lan (Vivian) Zheng, Xiaoyin Chen, Jiayi (Jacob) Chen, Xiaomei (Lala) Zheng, and Jiayu (Jimmy) Zheng; loving companion and dog, Dou Dou; as well as countless other cousins, family members, and friends who loved him.
As an alumni of the University of Tennessee, he worked many years as a chemical engineer. In his free time, Bin loved adventure and spent many of his moments traveling and sightseeing with his friends and family members on spontaneous road trips. When at home, he enjoyed cooking homemade meals and trying new recipes. He shared many moments of laughter with his close friends and family over the dining table.
Bin lived his life with selflessness and compassion. He spoke more through his actions than his words. He was always eager to help and care for others and, in return, never wanted to burden anyone else.
He spent his last days to the fullest, making lasting memories with his wife and son. In his time, he made an incredible impact on our lives and will be so dearly missed. Our memories with him will be cherished deeply.
