Mr. Bill Ray Valentine's Obituary
Bill Valentine past away suddenly at his residence in Houston, at the age of 64. He was born in Longview, TX .to Ray Lee Valentine and Mary Etta Connally. He is predeceased by his parents and brother Tommy Valentine. He is survived by his wife Renee Valentine of 37yrs, sister Victoria Valentine McMahon, niece Katherine Mary McQueen, husband Brian, great niece Madison James, great nephew Corbin James, all of California. Also numerous relatives in Texas, Hawaii and Washington. Bill graduated from Milby High School in 1971, and was active in baseball through his formative years in Little League, and a pitcher Letterman in baseball for Milby High School. In 1969 as an All-Star pitcher, also won District Super-All-Star and in 1970 won District Champs and All-District Champs for Milby Buffallos. He was an Alumni of Sam Houston State University. While employed at Continental Airlines in 1974, he met his wife Renee a Flight Attendant in 1978 and married in 1979. He choose a career in Food Service Sales for Kraft Food Co, and continued his sales representative experience working in the food service business. He was proud to work at Premium Food Service in Houston until his death. Bill was very well-loved by everyone he met, the word stranger was never in his vocabulary. His smile, laughter and twinkling eyes will be etched in the hearts and memories of those who knew him. The greatest gift he could share was to represent his love of life as an Organ Donor. Bill was an avid fan of the Houston Oilers, Houston Astros, and especially his beloved Houston Texans. He will be sitting in the front row seat for the Texan's Super-Bowl Performance in Houston. Well deserved!. Go Texan's. He favorite saying was, " We pass this way once in our lifetime, be kind, generous in spirit and enjoy every day as if it were your last." He did!! The Family will receive friends July 23, 2016 at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas at 11 am. Join us in our Celebration of Life!
