Mr. Bill Mahair's Obituary
Billy Eugene Mahair passed away peacefully December 25, 2009. Bill was a resident of Colonnades at Reflection Bay nursing home in Pearland, TX after suffering a major stroke March 15, 2009. Bill was born at home in Kamay, TX on September 25, 1941 to William J. and Luvenia Mae Mahair. His father worked on oil drilling rigs all over Texas. Later, he settled his family in Kilgore where he owned and ran a gas station and laundry. Bill leaves his wife, Cheryl; sons, Billy and Danny Mahair; granddaughters, Meggin, Alyssa and Tabitha Mahair; great-grandchildren, Emmaleigh and Leland. He also leaves many other relatives and a great many friends. Bill never knew a stranger. The family will receive guests from 9:00 to 12:30 PM, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland, a celebration of Billy's life will begin at 12:30PM.
