Bill Boike's Obituary
William “Bill” Boike, 81, of Houston, traded his fishing pole and wrenches for angel wings on June 29, 2026. Bill built a life on service to others, always willing to help someone in need. His days were filled with work; he was not the type to sit idle and watch the world pass by. He and his wife owned an automotive repair shop for close to 30 years. He was a fair and honest man in an industry that doesn’t always get the best reputation. I believe most people wouldn’t recognize him without his blue B&D uniform on.
He was born April 23, 1945, in Cullman, Alabama, the first son of the late William J Boike and Marie Grabber.
Bill leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Delores. Their daughters, Regina (Greg) and Angela (John), six grandchildren, Cory, Tiffany, Blake, Kenli, Chris, and Sam, three great grandchildren. His sisters Mary and Ruth, brothers Jimmy and Johnny, along with their spouses and many more family members and a community of friends who will miss his easy laugh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first two daughters, Beverly Boyer and Tina Flippen; brother RJ and sister Betty.
A visitation honoring his life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, beginning at 5pm at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N Main Str., Pearland, Texas. A funeral service will held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 1pm, with a graveside to follow at South Park Cemetery.
