Mrs. Betty Jo Shoemake's Obituary
Betty Jo Shoemake, age 87 passed away on October 20, 2019 in Alvin, Texas. Betty was born on November 17, 1931 in Victoria, Texas and was a resident of the Pearland/Alvin area as she raised her family. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ of Alvin. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charlie Monroe Shoemake; parents, Monroe Fletcher Davis, Sr., Myrtle Elizabeth Davis; by sisters, Dorthy Bosak, Juanita Facemire and brothers, Monroe Davis, Elbert Davis, Bobby Davis; and son in law, Parkey Langston and great grand daughter Natalie Chandler.
Betty is survived by her children, Connie Jo Langston, Charles Monroe Shoemake Jr., Cynthia Ann Morris and husband Richard, and Anthony Wayne Shoemake and wife Cindy; by her brother Cecil Davis and wife Lena and sister-in-law Shirley Davis; 11 grandchildren, Danny Chandler, Tonya Chandler, Jamie Lofton, Joshua Morris, Jessica Mannon, Jennifer Morris, Jeremy Shoemake, David Torres and Brandon Schneider and Jacob Schneider; 21 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and 2 in the oven; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
