Mrs. Betty M. Garnett's Obituary
Betty Marie Garnett, 87, of Dickinson, TX, made her transition peacefully at home surrounded by those she loved on December 10, 2015.
Mrs. Garnett was born September 14, 1928 to the late George and Margaret Earls in Cincinnati, OH., and where she gained her formal education. Betty professed Christ and lived accordingly. She later married the late Mr. Cecil Garnett whom she loved and adored for nearly fifty years until his passing in 1998, she now is reunited with her loving Cecil. To the union two children were added, Ron and Connie. They were faithful members of Temple Methodist Church from 1952 to 1972 until they moved to Montgomery, TX., where they continued their Christian duties at April Sound Church. Betty was a excellent caregiver to her husband, children and her precious grandchildren, she was a lovely person to know and will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Garnett was is predeceased by not only her loving parents and husband but also her brother Thomas Earls and sister Mildred Behler. She is survived by her son Ron Garnett of Houston, TX and daughter Connie Garnett of Dickinson, TX., Brothers George Earls (Dolly), Jim Earls (Doris) and Sister Shirley Vento, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
Graveside Service will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 12:00 PM in the SouthPark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
