Bessie Mae “Snookie” Sale Dimitt Beathard Phillips, 86, born in Pearland, Texas passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 in New Caney, Texas. She is preceded in death by her spouses William Theo Phillips, Alvin Lee Roy Beathard, and Floyd James “Jimmie” Dimitt, her daughter Sharron Denise Rizzo; grandson Floyd Earl Dimitt, Jr.;parents Robert and Bessie Sale; brother Robert Burton Sale, Jr. and sisters Clara Maude Hammontree and Marjie Ruth Sale. She is survived by her children Betty Ann Dimitt of Woodlands, Texas, Myrtle Lea and Lonnie Coursey of Houston, Texas, Mary Ellen and Charles Burrell of New Caney, Texas, Laurie Anne and Gary Koller of Kaufman, Texas, Floyd Earl and Betty L. Dimitt of Trinity, Texas, and 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren and 2 on the way.
A visitation will be held for friends and family on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at South Park Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 12:30 PM officiated by Rev. Larry Grover at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main, Pearland, Texas 77581. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery after funeral service.
