Benjamin August Kamke, 83, was born on June 6, 1940 in Wausau, Wisconsin and entered into eternal rest on July 4, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was a hardworking man, a troubleshooter, and a thinker; when he wasn't working, Benjamin would enjoy spending time with his family, bowling or going fishing. After retiring, Benjamin would enjoy sitting in his recliner watching his favorite sports, especially the Houston Astros.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank William August Kamke Sr; by his mother, Emily (Rogers) Kamke; by his beloved wife, whom with he shared 55 years of marriage, Brenda E. (Bainter) Kamke; also, by his 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Benjamin leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his daughter, Sherri Pell & husband Darryl Pell; his son, Brian Kamke; his grandchildren, Nicholas Kamke, Derek Kamke & wife Melinda, Kenneth Pell & wife Fabiola, Heather Trevino & husband Eric, and Kevin Pell & wife Molly; his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Guevara, Landon Kamke, Jaxon Kamke, Cole Kamke, Maverick Kamke, Ash Trevino, Brayden Trevino, Westin Kamke, and Ivey Pell; his sister, Eileen Pierce; he also leaves behind other relatives and dear friends.
Benjamin will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.
