Mrs. Beatrice Hinkle's Obituary
Beatrice Gertrude Hinkle, 95, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Beatrice was born to William Robert Hull and Victoria De Latte on April 7, 1920 in Nettie Yuma, Mississippi. At the age of 5 she moved to Baton Rouge, LA with her mother and siblings where she stayed until her early 20’s. Affectionately known as Bea, she married Loyd Earl Hinkle on October 2, 1942, and soon after moved to Houston, TX to await his return from overseas duty in WWII. They were faithful longtime members of the Lawndale, Southeast and Watters Road Churches of Christ. Bea spent most of her adult years being a housewife and mother to their two children. Bea was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Loyd who passed away in September 2009, her son Dale Anderson Hinkle who passed away in December 1968 while serving his country and her three siblings, Wilma Page, James Hull and Jeanette Cleek. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marsha and Joe Ickes and many nieces and nephews and special nephew, James Clark of Picayune, Mississippi. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 21, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Southaprk Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, TX 77581. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
