Beatrice Zepeda Gonzales' Obituary
Beatrice Z. Gonzales gained her wings on October 15, 2022, at the age of 74. She was born on March of 1948 in Richmond, Texas to Guadalupe and Louisa Zepeda. She spent most of her childhood in Sugar Land, Texas where she worked as a migrant farmer with her 9 siblings and with many other family members across the Texas Land.
In 1963, she married her Honey Adolfo Gonzales Sr. Their marriage was por 50 Años, before he passed in 2014. They grew their family to over the years. In 1979, they moved to Rock Island, Texas, where she loved the country setting. She loved having familia over; we never had an empty house on the weekends. While in Rock Island she worked for Entex in Weimer, Texas and a Bus Driver for Columbus, Texas. In 1987, our family moved to Rosharon, Texas where, Mom worked for Alief ISD and Fort Bend ISD for a combined forty-five years until she retired in 2013.
She had the greatest of neighbors. Sus vecinos la cuidaron muncho. Mother was loved by munchas personas y no one was a stranger to her. She opened her doors to anyone. Everyone knew they had a warm place at her house if you needed it. She was known as vocal, honest, straight to the point and most of all giving. She loved listening to music and dancing; it was her everyday passion. She enjoyed making people laugh y contarle chistes! She liked talking so much that at times she had two phones in her hands at once, porque todos eran importante para ella. She loved being a home remedy doctora, had remedio para todos!! Su sonrisa y conversaciones eran contagiosa dondequiera que iba. Muy agradable y muy amable. Mom aka “Hija” “Sister” “Honey” “Aunt BEA” “Grandma” & “Great Grandma”! But never Abuelita”!
She is proceeded in death by her Honey Adolfo Sr, her Father, Mother, Three Brothers, a Granddaughter, a Great-Grandson and other family members. She leaves behind her most important 6 children, Daughters-in-law, and Sons-in-law: Yvonne/Joe, Arlene/Tommy, Evette, Norma/ Ernest, Adolfo Jr/Karee, and Steve/Anabel. Her precious 24 Grandchildren, her adorable 42 Great Grandchildren and looked forward to meeting her Great-Great granddaughter soon to be born. Her siblings: Carlos/Dora, Salvador/Janie, Roy/Pat, Hortencia/Joe, Norma/Troy and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Mom, you are missed by many, loved by all. Until we see you again.
