Barbara Ann Sink Lanier's Obituary
Barbara Ann Sink Lanier went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 5th, 2022 at her home in Houston surrounded by loving family. Barbara was born January 12th, 1934 in Lexington, North Carolina to William Frank Sink and Phoebe Evans Sink.
She married Donald Fred Lanier on January 12, 1952 and remained faithfully in love for fifty years until his death in 2002. She was the loving mother of their five daughters. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for doctors’ offices in earlier years, and later spent twenty years working at Goodyear retail stores.
She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, and her husband. She is survived by five daughters and four son-in-laws: Pam and husband Larry Kurth, Alison Clapson, Amy and husband Henry Fuertes, Donna and husband Jon Overhultz, and Dana and husband Dan Gray.
She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
