Baltazar Pena's Obituary
Baltazar Pena, 78 years old, (aka Chato, Bate, and Roger) Born July 2,
1944, passed away quietly in his sleep, beside his wife Dalia, at his home
around 2:12 a.m. on December 21, 2022.
Baltazar was born in Alice, Texas and moved to Houston, Texas where he
met his wife, Dalia Trevino and were married 46 years. In Houston, he
worked as a draftsman, then after several years, he went into his own
business as The Island Club.
He closed the business in 1985 and entered the ministry and attended
Texas Bible College; thereafter becoming a Minister at Brownwood Church.
He did all this while working part-time at Metro Transit and eventually
retired from Metro after 22 years.
Baltazar loved God, his family and golf. He loved spending time with his
wife, children and grandchildren while taking vacations with them all the
time.
He had a great sense of humor, and was always making everyone laugh,
while at the same time, speaking about God and his love for everyone.
Baltazar is survived by his wife, Dalia, his children, Debra Ann Pena,
Michael R. Pena, and Belinda Benita Pena Acevedo and grandchildren,
nieces and nephews.
