ASAF ELODIA's Obituary
Elodia Hawkins Asaf, 79, was granted her Angel wings on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren that she had touched in every way throughout her long and memorable life. She was born in Benavides, TX. on January 16, 1932, She began her family life here in Houston. Her interest included gardening and reading. She devoted her life to her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elias Asaf; son, Mario Asaf; parents, Melchor Hawkins and Elida Segura; sister, Eloisa Gomez and her brother, Edward Hawkins. She is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Asaf; son, Elias Asaf, Jr.; grandchildren, Adriana Gonzalez, Crystal Gomes, David L. Asaf, Bryan Asaf; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Sebastian, Adrian, Yazmin, Alalya, Gabriel, Skyler, Emajin, Azlyn, Jhayce and Rhyse. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 12:30 PM also in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. Pearland, TX. Interment will immediately follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
