Artemio Dimas' Obituary
Artemio Dimas "Art" went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 7, 2021 at the young age of 49. He was awarded the rest and peace he very well deserved. We thank God for granting us those wonderful, loving 49 years with him. they will be cherished forever. He is survived by his loving mother Minerva, sisters Ana, Zulema, Judith, Mary (Rick), brothers Noelio, Ruben (Irene), niece Samantha, grandniece Makayla, aunt Aide, Oscar, Sandra, father Noelio, seven aunts and uncles, 30 plus cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and innumberous family members and friends.
He loved and was a die-hard fan of all Houston sports. His favorite sport was baseball and the team Astros. He would say "it ain't over" when others would walk away upset and he would stay to watch til the very end because he had faith they would make a comeback and win. He coached the company's softball team back when they had one. The dedication and loyalty he gave to the only company he ever worked for over 30 plus years, he gave with an open heart.
His love for his family and friends was immeasurable. He would do anything and everything for anyone in need. He was soft spoken and radiated peace and kindness. He endured immense pain and suffering throughout his life but he never lost his faith, positivity and spirit. He fought and overcame many obstacles. He was the light for many in darkness. He put others before himself. Every encounter, every wisdom-filled conversation, every piece of advice he gave will be treasured dearly. He was a loyal friend and employee. His nobility really was that of a saint.
Art, your departure from this earth serves as a reminder to place greater importance on the people we love and help them navigate this life with peace and kindness.
May you rest in eternal peace and happiness. We love you always and forever.
