Mr. Arlie Wayne Moore Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Arlie Wayne Moore, Jr., 82, of Houston, passed away due to complications after several falls over the past month on Saturday, November 29, 2014 with his family by his side.
He was born on Saturday, January 9, 1932 in Chicota, Texas to Arlie Wayne Moore, Sr. and Betty Lee Moore.
He was a graduate of Galveston Ball High School and attended Texas A&M for two years prior to enlisting in the US ARMY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and mother of his children, Mary Moore; his second wife, Rosa Moore and his beloved chihuahua "Fifi".
His spirit is carried on by his two sons, Arlie "Wayne" Moore, III and wife Gerry and Terry Lynn Moore; step daughters and their spouses, numerous grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends from all walks of life. His sons meant the world to him. His family and friends are left with many wonderful memories. He will be remembered in may hearts forever.
To celebrate Wayne's life the family will be present to receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 10:30am until Service time at 12:30pm in the Chapel of Southpark Funeral Home in Pearland.
A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
