Mrs. Arlene Elsa McCann's Obituary
Arlene Elsa McCann, 74, of Pearland died peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 8, 2015 after a long illness. Arlene graduated from San Jacinto High School. She owned the Bayou City Bolt & Supply. She lived in Pearland since 1969 and was a faithful member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church and the Woman’s Ministries. She was also a long time member of the Pearland Lioness Club. She loved all animals and supported many animal rescues. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Louis Palombi; her birth father, Wendall Widen and step-mother Marlett Widen. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis McCann; she was a loving mother to Deborah Kovich and husband Carl and Jennifer Vicknair and husband Tim. She was also a loving grandmother to the joys of her life, Zachary Lackey and Alexander Kovich. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made the Texas Lions Camp for Children.
