Mrs. Ardena Lorraine Meeks, 73, of Houston, Texas passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elenore Bice and brother, Raymond Bice. Mrs. Meeks is survived by her husband, Herbert L. Me Read Obituary
I am so blessed to have Ardena as a friend. I was comfortable sharing my thoughts and fears with such a Godly woman. She always gave me peace with her kind words and spirit.
We enjoyed our sewing time together, that was the one thing I missed moving away. She was patient with my many errors. We will forever treasure the quilt she made out of Charle's grandmother's potholders.

Mrs. Meeks was my husband Brent's 1st grade teacher and he was great friends with Burt as a child. He has shared many sweet memories of this family with me and we are sad to hear of her passing away.
