April Hart's Obituary
In Loving Memory of April Hart Sherman
April Hart Sherman, 46, of Alvin, Texas, passed away in March 3, 2026. Born on February 26, 1980, April was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.
April was a polite, loving, and kind soul who would do anything for her family. She never missed a chance to show up for her nieces and nephews, cheering them on at their events and celebrating every milestone. She was truly beautiful inside and out.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and was famous for her unbeatable comeback — “your face.” Once she said it, everyone knew the argument was over. She also lovingly told her siblings, “I love you more, I saw you first,” a phrase she proudly carried on from her mother. Those little sayings will echo in the hearts of her family forever.
April loved building Legos, laughing with her family, and spending treasured time with her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was simply being surrounded by the people she loved most.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Villarreal Hart; her brother, Stanley “Snapper” Hart II; and her nieces, Lori and Holli Tomlin.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Sherman; her sons, Jaykob Hart and Robert Duke; her daughter, Lorili Covington, and son-in-law, Chase Covington; her beloved granddaughters, GG Hart and Breanna Covington; her father, Stanley Hart; and multiple brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry her memory forward with love.
April’s love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and in the memories we will cherish forever.
