Angelberto Rodriguez's Obituary
Angelberto Rodriguez, 80, of Pearland, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022.
Angelberto was born May 21, 1942, in Monterrey, Mexico to parents Juan Rodriguez and Amelia Gonzalez Rodriguez. At a young age, he and his family traveled to the United States to work in agriculture. This experience helped him develop a strong work ethic.
He eventually settled in Houston, Texas and worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. His hard work earned him recognition of being in the top five percent of his field. This honor filled him with gratitude and joy. In addition, he worked in the hospitality industry.
Angelberto loved his family, sports, music and enjoyed the outdoors. He also loved traveling to Mexico to visit his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and loved watching baseball and rooting for his favorite team the Houston Astros. He had a profound love of music and an appreciation for animals. He loved watching television and had a great sense of humor. The Johnny Carson Show, All in the Family and The Carol Burnett Show were his all-time favorite comedy programs.
Angelberto is preceded in death by both his parents, sister Gloria Rodriguez, brother Jesus Rodriguez and grandson, Dominic Luke Rodriguez.
He is survived by his five children, their spouses, and 9 grandchildren: Son, Sergio Rodriguez, his wife Vicky, and their sons Anthony and Nicholas Rodriguez; Daughter, Blanca Gordon, and her daughters Brittney and Selena Gordon; Daughter, Rosa Hernandez, her husband Phillip, and their children Christian and Julia Hernandez; Daughter, Linda Medel, her husband Carlos, and their children Patrick, John, and Miranda Medel; and Son, Albert Rodriguez, Jr.
