We are saddened that you have left us, but we rejoice in the fact that you are resting in heaven with God. On behalf of me, Victor, and Tutu, we thank you for all of the years that you drove us to and from school. I remember that you would ALWAYS make sure we would lock the front door and back door to the house correctly and it was almost like you had a sixth sense and knew exactly when we didn't lock the back door We are also grateful that God gave you the chance to meet your great-granddaughters Emi and Gali. Dad,
It's been a week since you gave your last breath and the gates of heaven opened so you could go home to be with our Lord and Savior. I will treasure your unconditional love and the legacy you left in my heart. All the special memories of you will always bring me joy and a smile. I remember the day when I went to pick you up for a doctor appointment, as soon as you got in the car you asked me and checked to see if the vehicle had a full tank of gas. I knew it didn't... and ever since then I made sure it was never empty. Thank you, dad, for always taking care of me. I will miss you very much but until we meet again your memory will be in my heart forever.

Dad…a week has gone by since you were called home. As I look up at the heavens, I smile because I know you are there rejoicing with God. Upon your passing, it felt like time stood still, but nonetheless God’s glory has been present as we have all felt His peace and His comfort that surpasses all understanding in your passing into God’s presence. I thank God for blessing me with an early retirement so that I could spend more time with you to create more moments of joy for you (and with Mom, as she cared for you unconditionally) .
I will always cherish so many wonderful memories such as seeing you pray for our entire family every morning specifically for God’s protection over my husband and Jesse when they were working out of town and assuring Cyndi and Alex of God’s blessing over them in their adoption journey in addition to delivering home cooked meals/banana nut bread to them and of course watching the Astros games at MMP or on TV with you, mom and Jr. (By the way, your favorite pitcher #35 is back with the Astros). It was my pleasure sharing family pictures and walking down memory lane with you, sharing breakfast, lunch or dinner with you (can’t forget the mini coconut cream pies for dessert), and taking you to your doctors/chemotherapy appointments. I could go on and on but for now I will keep the rest of our memories in my heart. Thank you Dad for loving me and my family unconditionally…WE LOVED YOU so very much. Until we see each other again in heaven…rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior…Your daughter Esma❤️
