She has a large extended family of numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. All of whom are located in Canada, UK, the US, and the Caribbean.
Margaret married Francois Soudine on November 29th, 1973. After they wed they moved to St. Lucia and lived there for 12 years until she immigrated to New York in 1985. She was joined a year later by her husband, and lived in Brooklyn, NY. She worked at Interfaith Medical Center in the dietary department. She and her husband continued to work for the rest of their adult life.
Margaret was widowed in 2012, she retired shortly thereafter. She moved to Houston, Texas in November 2017.
She had a smile that could light up any room, and her laugh was just as infectious. Her humor was quirky, and some of her jokes only her loved ones could fully appreciate. She lived for her grandchildren, and loved each of them dearly. She cared for all of her family and friends. Her memory was second-to-none, she would remember people and things long forgotten by everyone else. If given the opportunity she would remove the clothes off of her back to give it to someone in need. If someone gave her a gift, it forever contained a sentimental value in her heart. She was a woman of deep faith, and followed her scripture until the very end. Her deep held faith gave her light, and happiness in any time of darkness. She will be missed by many and will always be cherished in our hearts.
