Mr. Amos D. Alley Jr.'s Obituary
Amos D. Alley, Jr., 89, entered into rest Friday, March 20, 2009. Preceded in death by parents and daughter, Deleree Alley. Survivors include wife, Lynlee; sons, Amos, III, Patrick, Alan and Brett; daughters, Sandi and Lani; grandchildren, Megan, AR, Kim, Sophia and several great-grandchildren. He was a decorated bomber pilot in WWII and flew 26 missions over Germany prior to VE Day. Our heartfelt thanks to Houston Hospice and to our many friends who helped and supported us in this difficult time, especially Joyce and Bennett Wood and Bethel and Wim Wijnberg. Visitation, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon, Monday, March 23, 2009 in the Chapel of South Park Funeral Home where a Celebration of Amos' Life will be held at 12:00 Noon. Interment to follow, South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Houston Hospice (www.houstonhospice.org/donations.html ) or Parkinsons Foundation (www.parkinson.org) In Amos' name.
