Amalia Garcia Martinez Aragon's Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Amalia Aragon of Hammond, IN. She went to be with Jesus our Lord. She died at the age of 85 on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Amalia was born in Moroleon, Guanajuato, Mexico on November 29, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her biological parents Ignacio and Maria Garcia and her adoptive parents Jose and Juanita Martinez; and her daughter Sally Aragon.
Survivors are one son, Jesus (Sylvia R.) Aragon of St.John IN; two daughters, Sylvia Aragon of Pasadena, TX and Rosalinda (Abelardo) Rodriguez of Hobart IN; one grandson, Jamie Aragon Rodriguez of Hobart IN; one brother, Ignacio Garcia of San Antonio TX.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N Main Pearland TX 77581. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, services at 2 pm.
