Mr. Allen Ray Lemke's Obituary
Mr. Allen Ray Lemke, 70, left this life on December 29, 2012 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital due to complications from diabetes. Mr. Lemke was born to Gus and Pauline Lemke in Houston, Texas on July 19, 1942. Allen graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston. Allen and his family have been Pearland residents for 39 years. Allen worked in the automotive industry all his life and was the owner of Lemke Auto Repair and Wrecker Service; the first of many successful businesses he owned in Houston. Allen was a well-known and respected member of the automotive and towing industry and a past member of the Houston Automobile Wrecker Association. In his younger years, he enjoyed building and racing cars; his knowledge of automobiles was remarkable. Allen loved all animals and was also a past member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where he served as a Committeeman on the Youth Rabbit Committee. Allen is preceded in death by his parents Gus and Pauline Lemke. He is survived by his three children, Danny R. Lemke and wife Monica, Mark A. Lemke, and daughter, Wendy D. Lemke, as well as numerous other family and friends who will truly miss him.
