I worked with AL at utilities for a few years and he was one the nicest person I've met over the years. He was a good man to work with and under him, it was a pleasure to know him. He had a great interest in cars which was fun to talk about with him. AL taught me a lot and I'm thankful to have known him and I know he will be missed.

Allen and I were born two blocks from each other in the East End of Houston. We played together as young children and went to the same schools and finally graduated from Milby High School. Even today I have fond memories of us growing up and our experiences of our younger life together. Needless to say I will miss him very much
