Alice Sandlin's Obituary
Alice Gonzales Sandlin was born August 6, 1942 in Pearland, Texas to Marcus Gonzales and Adela Pena Gonzales and passed January 22, 2026 in Oregon. Alice was a 1960 Pearland High School graduate. She was a member of FHA, Pep Squad, Student Council, & Annual Staff. Alice was very active in playing volleyball & basketball. She started her career working at Prudential Insurance until they moved to Beaverton, Oregon in 1976. Alice was the owner of ASI Design, a successful decorating business.
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Mary Ruth Villanueva, Margaret Coffey, Clara Sutton and brother, Marcus Gonzales, Jr. Left to cherish her memories are a husband of almost 60 years, Jim Sandlin, son Chris Sandlin , daughter Dana Petersen sisters, Beatrice McClung and Pat Maginel, brother Joe Gonzales and two grandchildren. She will be missed beyond words by all who knew and loved her.
